CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Cahlir decided to give Biz some time, before visiting her room again. He left the suitcases by the door, knocked softly and stepped inside. She was lying in the middle of the bed with one arm thrown across her eyes. Cahlir realized she was asleep and took a seat on the edge of the bed. His fingers trailed her soft shoulders left bare by the sleeveless shirt she wore.

Bizay's lashes fluttered and she stared at Cahlir for a moment. It was almost as though their differences had vanished and they were simply two people very attracted to and very much in love with one another. After a while, Biz shook her head and pulled away from his seeking fingers.

"Cahlir what are we doing here?" She eased up to the head of the bed and drew her knees to her chest.

"We have work to do. Besides, I have a lot of people in my organization and you haven't met any of them."

"So, this is just business?" Biz asked, her brown eyes narrowed as she watched him closely.

Cahlir closed his eyes and nodded. "This is just business. Starting tonight, when we go out for dinner."

"Oh? Are we going to meet some of your people, then?"

"We'll discuss it. Do you have anything to wear?"

"I still have a few pieces I didn't wear in Atlantic City, but I may need to go shopping if we're gonna be here a while."

Cahlir stood. "It’s nothing formal, so dress for a night out on the town. We’ll need to be out of here by seven." He said, ignoring her subtle probe into their schedule.
